Netflix has teased a new docuseries about Simone Biles ahead of the Paris Olympics, as the American gymnastics star shares behind-the-scenes footage of her life since her retirement in Tokyo four years ago.
The trailer for the four-episode series was released on Wednesday, and the first part will premiere on July 17, just nine days before the Olympic opening ceremony, according to the streaming giant.
In the docuseries, Biles, 27, will not only chronicle her preparations to resume her position at the top of gymnastics, but will also explain her reasoning behind dropping out of competition at the previous Olympics (2021), her returning to the mat in 2023 and preparing for the US Olympic Trials.
Also included will be moments with her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens, as well as her former Team USA teammate Aly Raisman and her mother Nellie Biles.
