Five people have been found dead in a tragic suspected murder-suicide in a quiet Minnesota lake town.
Two women in their 40s and two children were found dead in two separate locations about a mile apart in Duluth.
At the second location, police also found the body of a 46-year-old man. He had died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police said all of the victims know each other.
First responders arrived at a home in the 6000 block of Tacony Street, where they found a 47-year-old woman and a child dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

The Duluth Police Department said in a statement: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and loved ones involved in this tragic event.”
“A suspect was identified” shortly afterward, police said, and officers “established a perimeter at his residence in the 4400 block of West 6th Street.”
When officers entered their home, they found a 45-year-old woman and another child also dead from gunshot wounds.
The man was found shortly after inside the home, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Duluth Police Department said in a statement: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and loved ones involved in this tragic event.”
More details about the identity of the victims will be released once next of kin have been notified.
Police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
