New brands: More than 140 Puma and Reebok products to launch on M&S’ Sports Edit platform
Marks & Spencer has partnered with Puma and Reebok to expand its external brand offering.
More than 140 products from the two firms will launch on M&S’s Sports Edit platform as it looks to drive online growth by selling third-party brands to build on its successful pivot. It now sells more than 90 third-party brands.
It bought a stake in Sports Edit in March 2022 and has a section on its own website dedicated to it.
Nishi Mahajan, director of third-party brands, said: “We are growing at a good pace and there is more to come this year.”
“Sportswear is an integral part of our wider Brands strategy at M&S.”
Searches for sportswear on M&S’s website have grown 110% in a year, and the chain launched Brands at M&S in 2021, aiming to shed its reputation for “scruffy” fashion and attract more shoppers. youths.
