A father who sparked a wild high-speed chase by police was seen kissing his baby and partner goodbye before handing himself in to police.
The unidentified man recklessly reached speeds of 60 to 70 mph during rush hour as Los Angeles police officers followed him for miles Wednesday afternoon.
He ultimately had nowhere left to go after getting stuck in a dead end at Shedd Terrace and Wrightcrest Drive in Culver City.
The driver, his partner and their young baby exited the vehicle once it reached the top.
The man was seen hugging his family several times before falling to his knees and surrendering to police.

The unidentified man was driving 60-70 mph during rush hour as officers followed him for miles.
The driver, a man with braided ponytails, and the woman, wearing a denim jacket and black pants, were detained while the baby was handed over to officers. NBC Los Angeles reported.
The car chase began in Hawthorne, where the man was allegedly involved in a robbery, according to KABC.
He then drove the car at dangerous speeds while weaving in and out of traffic, nearly colliding with other vehicles.
Once in Culver City, the suspect drove over 50 mph while the baby and woman were in the back seat.
Video from the end of the chase shows the driver stopping at a dead end while several officers blocked his way.
He is seen raising his arms through the window and wiping tears from his face before the woman in the back seat hands him the toddler.
He eventually stopped the vehicle after it became stuck on a dead-end street in Culver City. He was seen exiting the vehicle with the woman and child.
The chase began in Hawthorne, where the man was allegedly involved in a robbery. After saying goodbye to the woman and child, he surrendered to police and got down on one knee.
The suspect then opens the driver’s side door and speaks to officers before returning to the vehicle and returning the baby.
He proceeds to take off his jacket, hangs it on the door and walks over to the back seat to hug the woman.
Before standing up, he places his head in his hands and uses his white T-shirt to wipe his face.
The woman then gets out of the back seat with the baby in her arms while the man hugs and kisses them before saying goodbye.
The woman and baby walk away as the man pulls them back in before raising his arms in the air and getting down on his knees.
The footage also showed a group of officers comforting the boy as the adults were taken into custody.
