Authorities were quickly called to the residence of De’Ann Radley and her daughter, where they found the teen with critical injuries. According to the police, De’Ann Radley, in deep pain, recounted the moments leading up to the fatal shooting. She explained that her .40-caliber semiautomatic pistol, which was not in a holster, lay among several items in her purse. “HUG YOUR BABIES TIGHT BECAUSE I LOST MINE, WORDS CAN’T DESCRIBE THIS PAIN MY ELDERLY MY TWIN MY MY BABY WAS SO BEAUTIFUL,” she captioned. “GOD GIVE ME THE STRENGTH I DO NOT WISH THIS PAIN ON ANYONE MY HEART IS IN A MILLION PIECES. MISTAKE WAKE UP MOMMY NEEDS YOU 13 YEARS OLD BABY 13 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH A LOT TOGETHER WHO IS GOING TO TELL ME MOM IS GONE BE WELL AND HUG ME AND DRY MY TEARS AWA.”
She continued: “DEARRIA, I NEED YOU, I CAN’T MAKE THIS MISTAKE, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.”
