Matthew McConaughey was photographed mentoring his son on the set of his first movie, Way of the Warrior Kid, in Mission Beach, San Diego, on Wednesday.
The Oscar winner, 54, was in dad mode as he looked after the 16-year-old, and at one point was seen advising him before a shoot.
Matthew, who shares Levi with Brazilian model Camila Alves, 41, was pictured reassuring the teenager, who appeared nervous in a video from the set.
Levi was ready to do a pull-up scene, according to TMZand turned to her famous father, who is not involved in the film, for advice.
The Wolf of Wall Street star is then shown tapping Levi on the shoulder several times to boost his confidence, before the teen heads off to film his scene.

Levi’s casting for Way of the Warrior Kid, an adaptation of Jocko Willink’s book of the same name, was announced in September.
He has a supporting role alongside Chris Pratt, Linda Cardellini, Jude Hill and Ava Torres.
In August, Matthew enjoyed some father-son bonding with Levi while they took a lunch break on the film’s set in Los Angeles.
The film follows Marc (Jude Hill), “a self-doubting, bullied boy who struggles to complete a single pull-up, with Cardellini as Marc’s mother, Sarah,” according to Deadline.
Marc’s uncle, Jake (Pratt), is an elite Navy SEAL, who is injured on a mission and moves in with his sister for rehabilitation.
He then uses his SEAL Team training to help his 13-year-old nephew, who is struggling in school and in his personal life, while trying to help him “find his inner warrior.”
In addition to Levi, Matthew and Camila also share daughter Vida, 14, and son Livingston, 11.
In April, the entire family hit the red carpet at a fundraising gala for McConaughey’s nonprofit, Mack, Jack & McConaughey.
Levi is a budding influencer with around 300,000 followers after launching his own Instagram profile last year.
She made her Instagram debut as a gift from her parents on her 15th birthday in July 2023, but her mother Camila admitted that she feels “nervous” about the social media account.
Before the big reveal, Matthew and Camila took to the same social media to talk about their present while being open about their concerns.

Matthew said: ‘Happy birthday Levi Alves McConaughey. Can you believe it? Fifteen years young.
‘Hey, buddy, your mom’s a little nervous today. One of the gifts we give you, yes, we allow you today to join the social media universe.’
The couple admitted that they had been arguing for quite some time about when they would allow their eldest son to get an account since he was 12 years old.
Camila said: ‘All her friends have had it for a long time. We’ve been holding on.
Matthew added: “He knows who he is and he knows where he’s going.” I think you can handle it. “He has a great story to tell and share.”
The Oscar winner then had a personal message for anyone interested in following their teenage son.
The actor sweetly said, “I want you all to know that Levi McConaughey is a very calm and respectful young man, and I hope you can do everything you can to treat him the same way.”
“Levi, enjoy the adventure, enjoy telling your story, expressing yourself and what you offer and the exchange you get with people.”
The couple ended the video with applause as they both said in unison: ‘Happy birthday, go watch it.’

Levi wasted no time as an hour later he responded to his parents’ social media post with the comment: ‘Mom and dad, thank you!’
He also shared a video montage on his feed in which he enjoys his many interests, which include surfing, cliff jumping, skiing, volunteering, and spending time with his friends and family. He captioned it “happy to be here.”
There was even a familiar touch when the video played with audio of his iconic character from 1993’s Dazed & Confused.
McConaughey and Alves initially met in 2006 when they were introduced at a bar in Los Angeles. tThey got engaged on Christmas 2011 and She then got married in Austin in 2012.
Matthew is known for his performances in A Time to Kill, Contact, Interstellar, Dallas Buyers Club and True Detective.
He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2014 for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club. He played the role of Ron Woodroof, a Texas electrician diagnosed with AIDS, who begins smuggling experimental drugs into the United States.
