The tables really turned during Sunday night’s Married At First Sight reunion episode when Ben Walters handed over his villain title to Jono McCullough following the big reveal of his relationship with Ellie Dix.
The drama began the moment Jono and Ellie walked through the door hand in hand, following his texting scandal behind his wife Lauren Dunn’s back.
Ben, who previously fell out of favor with viewers thanks to his harsh treatment of Ellie during their on-screen marriage, meanwhile emerged as a surprise hero of the night after confronting Jono at the table.
The part-time construction worker spoke out to reveal Ellie had said “I think Jono likes me” weeks after the experiment, but insisted there was no blood between him and his ex.
Turning to Jono, Ben added: “I just had a problem with you,” to which Jono surprisingly responded: “I don’t give a damn!” Shut up, I’m talking!’

Meanwhile, Jono cemented his place as MAFS’ latest villain when he managed to divert attention from his relationship with Ellie by throwing boyfriend Tim Calwell under the bus.
“I heard Tim say that he felt rushed in the final vows and that if he had that time he would have made a different decision,” Jono said, implying that the groom doesn’t actually want to be in a relationship with Sara Mesa. .
“Deviation, deviation,” shouted groom Timothy Smith as the other couples were stunned by the admission.
Ben emerged as the surprise hero of the night after confronting Jono (pictured) at the table and telling him: “I’ve just had a problem with you.”

‘I feel like we can’t laugh. Wait,” Ellie said as Jono tried to hide her smile behind her hand.

Later, Jono and Lauren came to blows, and Lauren furiously called her ex-boyfriend a “dog.”
“You’re the most unpleasant person I’ve ever met in my life, Lauren,” Jono responded.
