Jessika Power’s beloved dachshund Sushi is living with her ex-boyfriend in France as she desperately tries to bring him back home.
The 31-year-old reality star revealed she was forced to leave Sushi with one of her former partners, British DJ Brent Anthony.
“Sushi is with my ex because I had to rush to my dad’s funeral,” the Australian MAFS star said in an Instagram Q&A on Monday.
One of Jessika’s 344,000 followers asked who looks after her dog now.
“I’m trying to get (Sushi) on a flight as soon as possible from France to the UK,” he wrote.
“If anyone knows of an airline that can help, please let me know because it’s a little unfair that I have to take care of my dog now that we’re not together anymore.”
Jessika has appeared in a number of reality shows around the world since finding fame on MAFS Australia in 2019.
She revealed her plans to move home to Australia last year after ending her two-year relationship with fellow British DJ Connor Thompson in June.
The reality star told fans last December that she was “saving up money” to move back to the Gold Coast with Sushi, but not long after she started dating Brent and apparently had a change of heart.

Instead, she moved to the French Riviera with Brent.
In May, Jessika shared a sweet video of herself and Brent walking through Nice hand-in-hand before the reality star jumped into her arms.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed Brent and Sushi’s absence from Jessika’s posts in recent weeks and have been flooding her comments sections with questions about what went down between the pair.
Jessika has been in a relationship with British DJ Brent Anthony since early 2024 and the couple lived together in Nice, France, with their dog Sushi until recently.
Over the weekend, Jessika quietly confirmed that she and Brent had broken up and that he is the “ex” who is looking after her dog while she returned to the UK.
“Are you and Brent not together anymore?” one fan commented on a post of Jessika dressed in “dreamy” pink lingerie for OnlyFans. Jessika, who is reportedly the most successful MAFS Australia girlfriend on the OnlyFans platform, shared the photo on Saturday.
She replied: ‘Brent and I love each other very much. Sushi will be back with me in a few months.’
But the reality star confirmed their split in a reply to a fan’s comment on this Instagram post over the weekend, revealing that she had left Sushi with Brent in France when she returned to the UK.
“I would have loved to see Brent follow you to Australia, you two were so great together,” the fan wrote to Jessika for the second time.
On Monday, Brent shared several videos of himself cuddling with Sushi on his couch playing video games.
“Arghhhh, I can’t wait,” Jessika replied, without offering any clarification on whether she meant she can’t wait to reunite with Sushi in the UK or if she’s hoping to rekindle her romance with the DJ in Australia.
The Married At First Sight star was forced to suddenly return to the Gold Coast in August to bid farewell to her beloved father at an emotional funeral.
Jessika filmed herself travelling in a black hearse, which appeared to be in Queensland, while a group of motorcyclists followed behind her.
She also shared a quick look inside the wake, which appeared to be held in a rustic pub.
The former TV sweetheart, who dyed her hair blonde again after being a redhead for a while, captioned the clips with the words “I love you daddy.”
Jessika revealed the shocking news of her father’s death in July, sharing the sad news of the passing of former professional boxer Troy Power.
She also posted on social media to provide an update on her mental health after she was attacked when she asked for donations to fund her late father’s funeral.
“I get messages asking how I’m doing, which I appreciate. I’m staying in my childhood home, my dad’s house, which has been tough, but comforting,” he began.
We grew up here and we are surrounded by its things, which helps us.”
Jessika then added that the continued media coverage surrounding her father’s funeral was having a negative effect on her mental health and she decided to keep the details of his funeral private.
“I know I’m a public figure, but I need this to be private,” he said.
“I’m not going to share anything about the day of the funeral, like where it will be or the date. I’m not in the right frame of mind right now. Funerals are devastating, but they bring the family together.”
