Madonna’s son David Banda sells songwriting sessions for £3,900 ($5,000).
The 18-year-old musician, who moved out of his mother’s house to live with his 21-year-old girlfriend, Maria Atuesta, Now he’s making money by selling the opportunity for people to meet him and write songs together, according to The strange column of the Sun.
She posted on her Instagram account: ‘Write something with me in person, for a limited time only from September 8th to September 28th!’
He added: “To write a song, excuse my writing.”
David has also been selling virtual guitar lessons online.

This comes after David claimed he had been “forced to scavenge for food” since moving out of Madonna’s house.
When asked how it felt to be living alone during an Instagram Live, he said: “I love it. I’m not alone, I have my girlfriend. But I love it. It’s beautiful to experience it at nine o’clock at night, being hungry and realising I don’t have enough money to buy food and go through the trash. It’s fun to be young!”
David also took advantage of his brief update to his followers to confirm that the Material Girl singer – who was initially married to Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989 and then to Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008 – is not currently single and is dating someone, but did not reveal their identity.
She said: “The truth is she’s not single. She’s dating a guy… That’s her life. She’ll do what she wants.”
Banda’s comments about “digging through things in the trash” prompted him to later clarify that he was “fine” and having no trouble making ends meet since moving out of his mother’s Upper East Side apartment.
“To all concerned, my mother is very supportive, she has always been supportive,” the artist began in a later post. “I am very happy with my life and I am not living on the streets, starving to death!”
He concluded: “Please stop worrying, everything is fine.”
The 18-year-old musician, who is dating rising model Maria Atuesta, 21, recently took to his Instagram to correct the narrative that he is struggling to make ends meet since moving out of The Material Girl’s Upper East Side apartment.
The guitarist joined the Material Girl singer (whose fortune is around 600 million dollars) on her Celebration Tour, which ended in May with a free concert in Rio de Janeiro.
Notably, he accompanied his mother on stage to play guitar in front of a live crowd while Madonna sang the lyrics of her most successful songs.
In 2022, the singer had already spoken effusively of David during an appearance on Tonight’s show with Jimmy Fallon.
“You know he’s doing music now, too,” she told Fallon, adding sweetly, “He’ll end up being one of your guests.”
After listing some of his talents, which also include humor and athleticism, Madonna spoke about her son’s eye for fashion.
“He puts on any clothes and looks stylish, as you know. It’s really irritating. He puts on my clothes and they look better on him.”
While talking to British Vogue In 2019, she also said of Banda: “He’s the one I have the most in common with. I feel like he understands me; he has more of my DNA than any of my kids so far.”
Last year, the singer faced a health scare that left her “almost dead” due to a bacterial infection. In April, on Instagram, she reflected on David and her five other children who “saved” her during the health crisis.
He added: “It’s a beautiful experience to be at nine o’clock at night, to be hungry and to realise that you don’t have enough money to buy food and to go through the rubbish. It’s fun to be young.”
To generate additional funds, David offers online guitar lessons and prospective students can book lessons from his main Instagram page, which currently has almost 52,000 followers.

“The day before our 80th Celebration Tour show, I need to acknowledge my incredibly talented children who helped me through this journey, each bringing their own unique talent to the stage,” she wrote.
“Rehearsals began over a year ago, with almost two months off to recover from a near-death experience. They never stopped practicing… they never stopped encouraging and supporting me.”
The star added: “Their enthusiasm kept me going,” she wrote of her children. “They also went to school and rehearsed every night. I’m so proud of all of them.”
‘I think what my kids learned most this year of rehearsing and performing is that if you want to follow your dreams, you have to work hard for them.’
Madonna, who has returned to writing her biopic, concluded: “And if they all choose something different later in life, they will never forget this year of blood, sweat and tears. Me neither. It’s a CELEBRATION!”
