Liverpool’s Under-19 player walked off the pitch during their friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt after allegedly being subjected to racist abuse.
A report by IMAGE He claims that a player from Frankfurt’s under-19 team used a racist term to insult a Liverpool player.
Liverpool and Frankfurt youth teams faced each other in a tournament in the city of Schwäbisch Hall in Germany.
Following the alleged incident, Liverpool refused to continue playing and left the pitch.
The match was eventually abandoned with the score at 1-1, with Frankfurt winning 3-0.

A player from Frankfurt’s under-19 team has allegedly used a racist term to insult a Liverpool player
Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung said the player had been misinterpreted.
Hardung said the player used the slang term ‘digga’, which means ‘bro’ or ‘guy’.
Hardung said IMAGE:’Our entire NLZ is like Eintracht Frankfurt, multicultural and we have clear values that we live by and constantly demand.
“Racism has no place here, but we still take that accusation seriously.”
Hardung added that “we can rule out racism.”
He said: ‘After consultation, our player confirmed that he had used the word ‘digga’, which is common in youth slang, during a normal match. We have no doubt that this statement is correct.
“We can rule out racism, it is a linguistic issue and we therefore hope to have cleared up the misunderstanding with the affected players and those responsible at Liverpool FC.”
