“We hear all the talk about what’s going to happen with Joe Biden,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz told reporters at the conference. “The good thing is, with Republicans, there’s not a lot of division within their party. They’re kneeling and looking up to someone who told us the election was stolen. Someone who overturned Biden’s vote.” Roe v. WadeSomeone who told us he knew nothing about NATO while putting the future of all of us at risk.”
In recent weeks, Democrats have had some success linking Trump to Project 2025, even though Biden hasn’t talked much about it. And Democrats might be losing ground on this front. Even though voters are increasingly aware of Project 2025, Republicans don’t seem afraid that it will hurt their reelection chances. Instead, GOP operatives and anonymous X users are trying to turn the entire project into a meme.
“As part of the 2025 project, we are putting Zyn trucks on every corner,” said Logan Hall, who does digital work for The Blaze, published last week.
“Project 2025 will bring back McDonald’s outdoor playgrounds,” wrote one account with wojacks in the header of his profile.
If they’re not already mocking Project 2025, the GOP has apparently completely forgotten about it (or hasn’t even heard of it). And after spending most of the Biden administration battling allegations and scandals, the GOP is finally where it wants to be: partying like none of this ever happened and gearing up for victory.
