Maximiliano Pérez, an Advanced Placement history teacher at Valley View High School in Moreno Valley, was recorded ranting to his history students just one day after the presidential election.

In a recording obtained by user Corey DeAngelis, unknownPérez is heard telling his students that the election result is “not a damn game” and that they could even end up “in a concentration camp” and “without human rights” under Trump’s presidency.

‘This shit ain’t a fucking game. Does that make sense to everyone? I can’t emphasize this enough. Can you end up in a concentration camp during your lifetime? Yeah.’

Pérez accused the former president of quoting Adolf Hitler and “embodying some of his ideas,” calling him a “traitor scum” and a “cowardly rapist and draft evader.”

‘Can it end without human rights? Yes,’ he added. ‘Will it happen to you? Most likely not, which is a good thing. But has Donald Trump cited Hitler? Yes. Does it embody some of Hitler’s ideas? Yeah.’

The teacher even took aim at the students’ own families, telling them that he knows “a lot of Latino men who wish they were white,” including their “fathers, uncles, and grandfathers.”

‘She won because white women didn’t show up to vote for Kamala Harris. He won because black and brown men didn’t show up to vote for Kamala Harris.

‘Let me tell you, I know a lot of Latino men on this campus, adults and students, who love Donald Trump, and he has called their mothers rapists. He has called his parents rapists. He has called them criminals. He called them the poison in the blood of our country.

“God, they want to be white so bad, but they never will be,” Perez allegedly said in the recordings. ‘I hate that shit. I hate Latin men who oppress the women in their family, their own daughters. And then they turn around and vote for men who want to oppress them.’

Perez then also attacked the gender issue and ranted: “God, I hate patriarchy.” If you are a young man right now in front of me, I hope you hate it too (…) you have the privilege of not being born with a uterus.’

‘You have the privilege of not being born with a uterus, so it doesn’t affect you. It’s affecting everyone. I’m so sorry, guys. You deserve better. Look at me. You deserve better. Do you have privileges because you live here? Yeah.’

He went on to tell his history students that they are privileged to live in the state of California because “there is a poor Palestinian kid in Michigan who is going to get beat up today.”

‘You’re not a five-year-old black girl from Arkansas, the only African-American in her class and whose great-grandfather was lynched during the civil rights movement. “You have so many privileges living in this great state,” he said.

‘These elections are going to affect billions of people. You’re very lucky to be where you are because there’s a poor Palestinian kid in Michigan who’s going to be beaten up, assaulted, and have his nose broken today.’

She told her students that she cried for a week after Biden dropped out of the race and Harris took office.

“We all deserve better,” he added. ‘You know what this country is. Is our country racist? Is our country patriarchal? Can we change it? Maybe.’

The Moreno Valley Unified School District has confirmed that Perez, who reportedly earns a total annual salary of $106,442 and is listed as a school advisor for the ‘AP Mental Club,’ has been placed on administrative leave while they investigate the incident.

“We recently became aware of an incident at one of our secondary schools, in which a staff member’s discussion of the election results became unprofessional,” the school said in a statement. “We do not tolerate the behavior that occurred and an immediate investigation has been launched.”

“We recognize the intense emotions surrounding the current political climate and deeply value the diversity of our community, which encompasses a wide range of perspectives and beliefs,” the district said.

Some students came to the defense of their teacher.

The petition calls Mr. Perez one of “the best teachers on campus and also one of the nicest” and admits that he engaged in an “unprofessional moment” by discussing “his massive disappointment that Donald J. Trump would have won.”

One student, Sarah Ghawi, said, “It’s just devastating to know that they’re trying to get him out for his opinion,” ABC7 reported.

“I think they’re trying to make him look like a bad guy because of what he said,” chimed in another student who was present during the rant, Mykael James. ‘I know he had a very strong tone, but that’s how he lectures as a professor.’

“I feel like it was appropriate,” he added. “I didn’t take it the wrong way, and he was offering an individual apology after class.”

According to students, a walkout is planned for Tuesday in support of their teacher, as thousands of people signed a petition urging the school to allow his return.
