Lily Collins was delighted that the Spice Girls paid tribute to her on her birthday.
The Emily in Paris star, who turned 35 last week, shared what happened on Instagram Stories.
It turns out the Spice Girls posted a photo of Lily in an old Spice Girls T-shirt while writing over the image: “Happy birthday @lilyjcollins.”
Collins later shared the image on her own Instagram Stories and seemed overwhelmed by the caption.
“Actually, I can’t handle it. What a gift,” she wrote in all caps and added a wow emoji.

Once recovered from the shock of the Spice Girls post, she continued to celebrate her birthday with her husband Charlie McDowell and their very cute dog Redford.
“Celebrate today in the most special way possible. I could never have imagined after @starmandarren called me on my 30th birthday asking me to be Emily, that 5 years later I would be married to my favorite person with our hilarious puppy visiting the set of season 4! 35 is already my new favorite birthday…” she captioned the series of photos.
The couple and their dog appeared to be on the grounds of a movie studio.
Last month, Lily revealed she was returning to filming her hit Netflix series, Emily in Paris, just a year after the season three finale ended on a cliffhanger.
After a two-month delay due to the long and controversial writers’ and actors’ strikes in Hollywood, the Anglo-American actress shared a selfie of herself holding a script read on a table.
‘Did someone say Season Four?! I finally found my family @emilyinparis back in Paris and it feels good,” she captioned her message.
Lily, a two-time Golden Globe nominee, continued: “Although I may have to brush up on my selfie skills for Emily’s sake.”
The script she submitted was written by Grant Sloss, who is supervising producer and writer for Emily in Paris.

Production on the popular Netflix romantic comedy, which features tons of enviable fashions, began in January.
The streamer has yet to announce a release date for season four, but Lily gave some hints about what will happen in a teaser posted on YouTube.
“It’s safe to say we ended last season on a dramatic note,” she said, referring to the cliffhanger ending in which Lucas Bravo’s Gabriel was left at the altar by Lucas Bravo’s Camille. Camille Razat, to discover that Gabriel was soon to become a father.
Emily and Gabriel have been locked in a tug-of-war since season one.
