Donald Trump dissidents have shared their wild conspiracy theories about the attempted assassination of the former president.
The 78-year-old was nearly killed by gunman Thomas Crooks on Saturday afternoon while speaking at a campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania.
The 20-year-old registered Republican managed to sneak to a rooftop spot 150 yards from the stage and began firing an AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle purchased by his father, authorities said.
A bullet grazed Trump’s ear before a Secret Service sniper shot the gunman dead. Corey Comperatore, 50, was killed trying to protect his family, while David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, were wounded in the shooting.
But some people have claimed the assassination attempt was a “false flag act” and staged under a number of distorted theories.

YouTuber James Klug interviewed the public in Huntington Beach, California, to ask their opinion on the attempted assassination of Trump.
“It was a false flag operation,” one man told him. “Someone died and two people were injured, what do you think about that?” he replied.
But the man simply replied: “False flag.”
Another swimmer said: “I thought it was beautifully prepared. It was done professionally. It almost looked real.”
Asked who might have organised it, he replied: “Mr Trump, of course.”
The man added that the death and injuries were a “small price to pay.” “Trump doesn’t care,” he added. “Do you think he cares that people are dying to get him elected?”
‘Death means nothing to Trump.
“I think he came out alive, maybe with a scratch on his ear. Behind the scenes, all of that was made up.

“It was a false flag operation,” one man told him. “Someone was killed and two people were injured, what do you think about that?” he replied. But the man simply replied, “It was a false flag operation.”
“They gave him a little scratch on the ear and poured some blood on his face.”
Klug asked: ‘So you think they planned to shoot him in the corner of the ear from 130 yards away?’
The man replied: “He was never shot in the corner of his ear. That was all done by the people around him.”
“I think this was all staged,” a third man said. “It could be (Trump) or the other side trying to make a scene.”
‘But the fact is that it just caught his attention and he stood up and said: America, come on, this doesn’t feel normal.
“It seems to me that it was planned. Blessed be that soul for dying for this cause. I feel so sorry for that person’s family. It’s just a feeling.”
The Secret Service, which is charged with protecting current and former presidents, was on the defensive Monday amid criticism of its failure to detect the gunman.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old would-be assassin who shot Donald Trump, was once shunned by his high school’s gun club and considered a danger.
“Secret Service personnel on the ground moved quickly during the incident, with our sniper team neutralizing the shooter and our agents implementing protective measures to ensure the safety of former President Donald Trump,” Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle said in a statement.
Biden ordered an independent investigation into how the gunman, who was shot and killed by officers moments after opening fire, could have come so close to killing or seriously injuring Trump despite heavy security provided by the agency.
The president also ordered the Secret Service to establish a protection team for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Trump flew to Milwaukee on Sunday the 24th after the assassination attempt.
Trump raised his fist several times and appeared to utter the words “Fight! Fight! Fight!” as he walked down the stairs of his plane.
In an interview during the trip, he said the realization that he came so close to being killed was sobering.
“That reality is just now sinking in,” Trump said, according to the Washington Examiner. “I rarely look away from the crowd. If I hadn’t at that moment, well, we wouldn’t be talking today, would we?”
“I want to try to bring our country together,” Trump said during the flight, the New York Post reported. “But I don’t know if that’s possible. People are very divided.”
