Kelly Clarkson showed off her new body in a trendy outfit while interviewing Savannah Guthrie on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday.
Clarkson wore a Janis Joplin top, a black leather skirt, and knee-high boots.
Her long dirty blonde hair was straight as she added shiny gold hoop earrings.
The American Idol alum sat down with TODAY Show host Guthrie as they discussed her new faith-based book Mostly What God Does: Reflections on Seeking and Finding Your Love Everywhere, which is now out of print.
The TV veterans bonded over what it was like to be young in front of the public.
“We’re all imitators until you create your own little thing,” Clarkson shared.

Guthrie revealed that she tries not to go back and rewatch her newscasts from the beginning of her career out of embarrassment.
“I was trying so hard to be older,” Savannah shared.
The news anchor spoke about her collection of essays titled Mostly What God Does: Reflections on Seeking and Finding Your Love Everywhere.
In it, Guthrie writes about exploring her Christian faith while answering questions about how religion makes room for imperfection.
She added that her faith carried her through her father’s passing, her first day on the TODAY show and into the present.
The author says writing the book helped her communicate her purpose.
“People of different faiths or no faith at all… they found something that resonates with them,” Savannah commented onin an interview with TODAY show.
Despite everything, she said her greatest blessing was becoming a mother.
Extended Family stars Donald Aison and Abigail Spencer joined Kelly to show off their musical talents.

The decorated journalist shares two children with her husband Michael Feldman: daughter Vale, 9, and son Charley, 7. Guthrie and Feldman said “I do” in 2014.
