Jon Stewart looked horrified after watching Joe Biden debate Donald Trump on Thursday, arguing that both candidates should take performance-enhancing drugs.

Stewart, often considered one of America’s most reliable liberal satirists, hosted a live episode of The Daily Show after the first debate.

He criticized both Trump (he said that “everything he just said was a lie”) and CNN (he called its debate rules “dumb”) and the entire pre-contest publicity machine.

However, Stewart was unable to defend Biden’s painfully unsuccessful performance, where the 46th president often appeared weak and abrasive.

In fact, Biden’s presentation prompted Stewart to comment that he had “the face of the 25th Amendment at rest,” referring to the part of the Constitution that deals with presidential succession and disabilities.

The comic began by mocking the setup of the debate and CNN’s relentless promotion of the entire show.

He then lamented the debate standards, which he reduced to Trump having to “look normal” and Biden having to “stand tall” and not have a “high-level moment.”

Upon seeing clips of both men entering the stage, Stewart immediately looked dismayed and joked that he needed to “call an estate agent in New Zealand.”

Stewart then showed clips of Biden’s struggles in the early debates, in which Biden seemed to confuse saving Medicare with defeating it.

“I’m sure it’s not something that was repeated throughout the debate and caused Democrats to jump out of windows or vomit silently,” he joked.

He hit Biden again, snarling: “Anybody can fuck with… talk.”

The show then played a series of clips of Biden’s faces reacting to Trump, which only further infuriated Stewart.

“It’s not a big deal! But… a lot of people look like they’re sitting on the 25th Amendment,” he joked.

Stewart criticized Trump, saying “everything he just said was a lie.”

‘I’m no political expert, but while Biden was preparing at Camp David for a week, did anyone mention that Biden would also be on camera?’

He then criticized Biden for not adequately attacking Trump on abortion, where the president gave a confusing response that set up Trump to attack him on immigration, making it look like Trump was set to take back the White House.

‘So how do we do this now? Shall I take my car to the White House tonight?

Stewart then played several clips of Trump during the debate as he directed his ire at the Republican candidate.

“It doesn’t appear to have passed the ass test,” he said, adding that “everything Donald Trump said in that clip is a lie.”

The 61-year-old comedian then took aim at CNN’s unusual rules for the debate, which included having no audience, strict time limits and refusing to focus on what he thought were interesting topics.

‘Who made up these fucking stupid rules and why would any of these people agree to them?’

Stewart then turned to Biden, who she said proved the MAGA conspiracy about taking drugs to get high “was bunk” by appearing so sleepy on stage.

He summed it up by comparing how Biden and Trump came out and said they should both be on to something.

‘Let me tell you, after watching tonight’s debate, both men should be using performance-enhancing drugs. Sorry, both. As much as they can, as many times a day as their bodies allow,” he said, to a long pause of applause.

“If performance-enhancing drugs improve your clarity, your problem-solving ability, and in the case of one of the candidates, improve your truthfulness, your morality, and your malignant narcissism, then suppositories are enough,” he added.

He said that if they couldn’t find performance-enhancing drugs for the candidates, “I could surely use some recreational ones right now.”

‘This can’t be real life. “You just can’t,” she concluded.

Stewart has suggested that neither should run for president since returning to his role as weekly host of The Daily Show in January.

The Democratic Party has been thrown into a full-blown panic over the 2024 general election due to the disastrous debate performance of a hesitant, mumbling Biden.

Behind the scenes, there are calls to replace the 81-year-old president on the ticket after his disheartening performance against Trump on Thursday night, where he lost his train of thought and stumbled over his words several times.

Immediately after taking the stage, Biden’s voice was hoarse and he cleared his throat repeatedly, and it continued to get worse during the 90-minute primetime showdown on CNN.

At times, the president would stare into the camera or look at his notes as Trump spoke.

Biden also struggled at times to finish his sentences or wrap up a conversation before trying to move on.

CNN moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash repeatedly reminded her to use the rest of her time as she cut short her responses and answers to Trump.
