Johnny Depp played guitar for Andrea Bocelli during the world-famous tenor’s three-day concert extravaganza in Italy, celebrating his 30th anniversary in music.
The Donnie Brasco star, 61, graced the stage alongside Maestro Bocelli, 65, at the Teatro del Silenzio, an open-air amphitheatre in the town of Lajatico, Bocelli’s hometown, in clips shared on the singing sensation’s Instagram Stories.
The dynamic duo paid tribute to the late Jeff Beck by performing ‘En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor’, a song they originally played together in 2020 when Depp and Jeff visited Andrea, according to TMZ.
At the time, the trio recorded their music session and Johnny and Andrea performed the song on Wednesday. They were even able to incorporate the recording of the legendary rock guitarist, who died on January 10, 2023 at the age of 78, into their performance.
Andrea’s three-night musical event featured a star-studded cast including Ed Sheeran, 33, Will Smith, 55, and Russell Crowe, 60, among others.

The Kentucky-born actor, who toured with Beck in 2022 during his final tour, wore a black suit and dark sunglasses for the performance.
Andrea looked as dapper as ever in a grey suit and bow tie at the concert, titled ‘Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration’.
Beck died after contracting bacterial meningitis.
Depp had a close bond with the British guitarist and was reportedly at his side shortly before he passed away.
Depp is said to have been left “totally devastated” after her death.
Johnny also showed his respect to Bocelli, also known as the Voice of Italy, a nickname given to him by his fans, by kissing his hand while greeting him, in a clip taken before the concert.
The actor showed off his rock style, sporting paint-stained pants, colorful boots and a gray hoodie.
He also wore a wide-brimmed brown hat and sunglasses.
Depp then posed with Andrea’s 12-year-old daughter, Virginia Bocelli, in another sweet clip.

Depp looked relaxed on the red carpet before taking the stage, wearing an all-black ensemble and iridescent boots.
Announcing Depp’s participation at the event, Bocelli described the actor, who is also seeking to rebuild his career amid his bitter split and subsequent litigation with ex-wife Amber Heard, as “disarmingly charming.”
The legendary singer is a father of three children. He shares Virginia with his wife Veronica Berti, 40. He also has other sons, Amos, 29, and Matteo, 26, with his first wife, Enrica Cenzatti.
Johnny also posed for a group photo with Andrea, Virginia, Ed, Russel, Will and his son Jaden Smith, 26.
On Tuesday, Johnny and Will were photographed together aboard a yacht in an Instagram post, as they both headed to Bocelli’s event.
They posed alongside Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad, 42. Saad wrote in the caption (translated): “It’s a great feeling to meet friends. Thank you, friends, for the lovely visit.”
In the picture, Depp – who has recently been linked to Russian model Yulia Vlasova – wore a light-patterned button-down blouse over a grey shirt with blue jeans, a bandana and reflective sunglasses.
Smith was dressed in a blue, short-sleeved, patterned button-down shirt over a white tank top, grey shorts and white socks.
Both high-profile actors were revealed to be involved in the event earlier this month.
Bocelli revealed Friday that Smith, who is still rebuilding his career following his slap in the face of Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars, was headed to Italy to participate in the event.
Johnny showed his respect to Bocelli by kissing his hand as he greeted him, in a clip taken before the concert.
She also posed alongside Virginia, whom Andrea shares with his wife Verónica Berti, 40 years old.
In another snapshot, he was seen shaking Will’s hand.
Depp then gave Will’s son Jaden a warm hug.
Depp’s participation in the three-day event was announced on Bocelli’s account on July 3.

“It’s one thing to briefly cross paths in the midst of the spotlights and cameras, but quite another to be able to sit down opposite each other and savour the opportunity to chat and really get to know each other better,” Bocelli said in an Instagram post.
He added: “We are delighted that Will Smith is joining our extraordinary Teatro del Silenzio adventure. We are proud to welcome this pyrotechnic artist, acclaimed actor, producer and musician.”
Depp’s participation in the three-day event was announced on Bocelli’s account on July 3.
Bocelli described Depp – who is also seeking to rebuild his career amid his bitter split and subsequent lawsuit with ex-wife Amber Heard – as “a disarmingly charming actor who has brought countless iconic characters to life on the big screen.”
