As Jennifer Garner’s children approach adulthood, the mother of three is confident in their potential.
The Golden Globe winner, 51, explained that the three children she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck — Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 — are “really solid right now,” according to talked with People about parenthood.
“I’m just watching them in this new phase of life where they’re discovering who they’re going to be and what they’re going to study,” he explained.
“And I’m very interested in them,” Garner added. “I’m interested in everything related to them all the time.”
Garner admitted that it is “very difficult” to let her children make their own decisions.

“I mean, my parents did it too, and that really surprises me,” he said.
“I have a hard time not saying, ‘This is how I see you,’ and ‘I think you should…” Garner explained. “I really have to sit on my hands.”
In fact, Garner previously turned the tables on her teenage daughters while seeking advice for her Netflix body-swapping film, Family Switch.
“I definitely went to my teenage years and asked a lot of questions,” she told People. “Everyone was like, ‘Mom, you’re crazy.’
In the film, she and Ed Helms play parents who trade places with their teenage children for a day.
“My kids are fun, smart and work really hard,” he said at the time. “And his teenage antics are on the lower, G-rated level, so I’m doing fine.”
‘Did you know? “I think my kids work so hard and have so much pressure on them that I never could have imagined as a teenager,” Garner added.

The parents are in talks to work together again on an upcoming Netflix film, which is directed by Affleck and could star Garner alongside her old friend Matt Damon.
