Jason Kelce appeared to reject the possibility of ever coaching football in the college ranks, but says he is open to accepting a position in either high school or the NFL.

All of this comes as the 36-year-old Philadelphia Eagles center is mulling over whether or not to retire.

Appearing on The Big Podcast with Shaquille O’Neal, Kelce was asked if he would ever consider coaching when his career comes to an end, especially if it meant returning to his hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

“If it was the number one school in Philadelphia, I might take it,” Jason said. ‘My in-laws help me, now I’m Philadelphia… we would be lost without their help with our daughters and everything.

—The heights of Cleveland would be something, though. NFL, that’s a big commitment.

‘I feel like the two best levels of training are high school, where you can develop boys and really shape them and help them become men and really give them that guidance.

‘And then in the NFL, you can compete at the highest level. “It’s still a time commitment in the NFL, but that’s where financially the time commitment makes sense.”
