Kerry Katona has criticised Keir Starmer for “sending money to other countries instead of helping the UK” as the soap star got political.
The 38-year-old TV personality has given his views on the new Prime Minister in his column for New! magazine.
In an article in the magazine, Kerry shared her concern about the recent racial unrest in the UK, calling the situation “terrifying”.
“I feel like the whole country is in trouble right now with riots and things like that. It’s scary,” she said. “Keir Starmer has pledged £84m for projects in Africa and the Middle East and I think it’s fantastic that we’re helping other countries, but what is he doing for the people of the UK?
“Or for the homeless and the NHS? I feel like we’re not getting the support we need and I’m fed up with it.”

This comes just days after she criticised Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward for “cutting off contact” with her daughter Mia after she created a racy OnlyFans account.
Model Mia, 19, is the daughter of the soap star and claimed over the weekend that she has become estranged from her family after falling out over her racy photo shoots for the subscription site.
Kerry, who charges users $24.99 to access her account, claims to have made more than £1m on OnlyFans and insisted she feels “empowered” by the site.
Speaking about Sammy’s actions, the former Atomic Kitten singer called the drama “very sad” and said there was “no shame” in the site.
She said OK! Magazine“I think it’s very sad. Losing your relationship with your daughter is not worth it, and as an actress, you’d think she’d have a better understanding of the industry.”
Kerry added: “There’s nothing wrong with using OnlyFans. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be furious if any of my kids started doing it.”
“I would be furious, but at the end of the day they are my babies and I could never stop having contact with them. It’s not worth it.”
She has daughters Molly, 22, and Lilly, 20, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, to whom she was married from 2002 to 2006.

She previously said how OnlyFans helped her out of a bad financial situation and that she sees nothing wrong with using her looks to make money.
The singer told Jeremy Kyle Live Talk TV:’This is about making money. I’ve been bankrupt twice. I started out as a glamour model, I wasn’t going to be a rocket scientist.
“I use my looks and my breasts to get out of the housing estate. The only thing I care about is what my children think of me.
“I’m making a lot of money and creating great memories and great adventures. It’s given me the opportunity to create this amazing life that I’ve given my kids.”
Mia earns up to £30,000 a month from selling racy images and videos but has not spoken to her Emmerdale star mum “for months” over her choice.
Speaking about Sammy’s actions, the former Atomic Kitten singer called the drama “very sad” and said there was “no shame” in the site.
She recently said that the couple had a fight on OnlyFans four months ago and that they have alienated her from her mother and the rest of the family.
Sammy played Katie Sugden in the rural soap for 14 years before leaving in 2015.
Speaking about the aftermath, Mia said: The sun:She said some pretty bad things last time we talked, it was horrible.
“But I love my mother very much, I love my whole family, but none of them talk to me now.”
Mia started an OnlyFans account earlier this year after talking to friends who were on the site.
