John, 76, was seen walking through the arrival gates like everyone else, even though the wealthy businessman recently sold his $200 million Point Piper mansion.
The mortgage mogul wore a plain white shirt and black pants, while carrying a black sweater over one arm.
The billionaire was all smiles as he walked through the arrival gates.
The sighting comes just months after John reportedly moved to the south of France to nurse his broken heart following his divorce from wife Amber McDonald.
The Australian businessman split from his ex, 52, at the end of last year and then decided to leave the country.
Putting his exclusive Sydney mansion up for sale earlier this year for a record $200 million, John is said to be “devastated” by the split, reported The Sunday Telegraph.

John put the Wingadal mansion up for sale after purchasing the four-level home in 1999 and spending eight years converting it into the spectacular home it is today.
