Jansen passed away in February 2023 and now the Heroes alum, 35, has spoken out about how his shocking death impacted her, explaining that she felt as though she had “lost half of her soul”.

“When my little brother passed away, my body did something I’d never seen it do before,” he said.

“Within a matter of days, I was practically bloated. I know that stress and cortisol coursing through your body can have that effect.”

The star said she “tried everything” to lose weight, but no matter what she did, she couldn’t lose it.

“I tried everything, everything that was unhealthy, everything that was healthy,” she continued. “It didn’t matter what I ate, it didn’t matter what I did.
