The potential new owners of Hargreaves Lansdown should ban working from home, its co-founder has said.
Peter Hargreaves, who launched the business with Stephen Lansdown in 1981, said he expected more staff to return to the office if private equity bidders led by buyout firm CVC took control.
“There’s a lot of working from home and the helpdesk doesn’t work if you’re working from home,” Hargreaves told the Telegraph. And he added: ‘I hope they (get rid of working from home). You simply can’t run a business like that. It’s just crazy.’
