One person died and two others were injured in a fire that affected an industrial warehouse.
Firefighters were called to a marine engineering facility at Zeta Crescent, O’Connor, south of Perth, at about 3.30pm on Saturday.
Thirteen crews worked to extinguish the fire for an hour before it was brought under control.
WA Police confirmed a body was found inside the warehouse.
It is unclear whether anyone else was inside the building at the time it caught fire.
Arson squad detectives have been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
Thick black smoke was seen rising into the sky and nearby residents were told to stay inside with all windows and doors closed.
