Ekin-Su Culculoglu has admitted she has ‘many more boundaries’ going into future relationships following her split from ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.
The 29-year-old reality star, who met Davide on Love Island, confirmed she had split from the Italian businessman, also 29, in February for the second time, blaming a ‘roller coaster of ups and downs’ in their romance.
The Celebrity Big Brother star spoke to Fabulous magazine about her breakup before entering the CBB house earlier this week.
Ekin-Su said: ‘I feel much more confident about myself. I know what I want, I know what I tolerate and what I won’t tolerate, and I have a lot more boundaries than I did before.’
‘I’m single and I’m really focusing on myself at the moment. You can’t plan who you’ll meet in life, but I believe that everything happens for a reason and I just go with it.’

She also claimed that she is ‘sure men are scared’ of her because she is a ‘fiery woman’ which makes men ‘trimmed by her’.
Ekin-Su also spoke about how close she got to Celebrity Big Brother so soon after her breakup.
She added: ‘I just got out of a relationship and I never jump from one to the other. That’s certainly not why I’m going into Big Brother! I’m excited to get to know everyone on a friendly level – that’s the only love I’m looking for at the moment.’
Ekin-Su first split from Davide in June 2023 but they reconciled just two months later and enjoyed a romantic holiday to Turkey, where Ekin-Su’s parents pay tribute.
The former Dancing On Ice contestant wrote on her Instagram Story to announce the break-up: ‘The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, like any relationship.
‘Davide and I both wanted to make this work as we loved each other very much. Unfortunately, I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and go our separate ways..
‘Laps are never easy. For any couple. And we hope that our privacy is respected. I enjoyed our time together and the memories we made.
‘Thank you for your continued support. It’s been so lovely to have you follow our Love Island journeys together since the villa and we hope you’ll continue to follow our careers as we go in our separate directions. Love always, Ekin-Su.’

Davide also spoke his mind on his own Instagram Story statement, which said they had ‘grown apart’ after previously believing in a ‘future together’
Davide released his own statement later that day also on his Instagram story, using the same font and colors as Ekin-Su.
He wrote: ‘Life sometimes reserves surprises and wakes you up suddenly… Ekin and I, right after the skiing holiday, decided to go our separate ways. It was a mutual decision, but I waited to make it public to respect her time on the show.’
Hinting at foul play by Ekin-Su, he said: ‘I don’t know why the agreed statement changed at the last minute, but continued: ‘I agree, it was a beautiful story even with its ups and downs like all couples .
‘I loved every moment, from the first time I knew her in the villa to life outside. I really believed in us and saw a future for us.
“But sometimes in life people need to grow apart. Is just the direction of life. I will cherish our moments forever.’
He signed off by saying: ‘Now it’s time to focus on myself. I love you all, thank you for the unconditional support you all showed me from the beginning. Davide.’
