Eddie Redmayne has revealed the secret trick he does to avoid being recognized in public while giving a rare insight into his quiet family life.
The actor, 42, lives in London with his wife of 10 years, Hannah Bagshawe, 41, and their two children, Iris, eight, and Luke, six.
While trying to live a normal life, Eddie said he has a hard time getting around town without fans noticing.
To avoid being seen, Eddie revealed that he avoids eye contact so he can live a “totally normal life.”

The actor lives in London with his wife of 10 years, Hannah Bagshawe, 41, and their two children, Iris, eight, and Luke, six.
“Sometimes they stop me to take photos, but the other option is to travel everywhere by car, which is very expensive and takes forever.
‘You can live behind doors or just pulverize yourself a bit. I can live a totally normal life as long as I don’t make eye contact.
“The moment you do it, people recognize you, but to me, you can make fame with whatever you want.”
Speaking of his kids, Eddie shared that his daughter Iris is trying to learn how to play the guitar because she’s a big Taylor Swift fan.
Hannah and Eddie met in 2000 at a charity fashion show while attending Eton College, striking up a friendship.
They later began dating in January 2012, after Eddie invited her on a trip to Florence during a break from filming Les Miserables.
The couple became engaged in June 2014 and married in December of that year at Babington House.
Eddie stars in The Day of the Jackal, which is an adaptation of a novel of the same name written by Frederick Forsythe.

Eddie plays the lead role in The Day Of The Jackal, which is an adaptation of a novel of the same name written by Frederick Forsythe.
The premise of the series is: “A search is underway for a dangerous and elusive assassin known only as the Jackal (Redmayne),” according to an IMDB synopsis.
The Oscar winner will pocket £10 million in total for his role as the title character, who makes a living performing hits for the highest price.
The Day of the Jackal premieres on Sky Atlantic and NOW on November 7.
