Beaming with joy, Downton Abbey actress Joanne Froggatt proves she’s not too posh to push as she takes her newborn baby for a walk.

It can be revealed the star, 44, gave birth to her first child earlier this month, four years after she was left heartbroken following the breakdown of her marriage to IT consultant James Cannon.

Looking effortlessly stylish, Ms Froggatt wore a black cap, leather jacket and baggy trousers as she pushed a must-have £750 Nuna buggy in Berkshire last week.

She was photographed pregnant for the first time in June while walking the red carpet at the Into Film Awards in London, a year after she found love again with boyfriend Mark Turner.

The couple were first seen together when she took him to a party with a group of friends at The Italian Greyhound restaurant in London’s Marylebone. A source close to her revealed: “Joanne is having a great time with Mark.”

Froggatt was reportedly left devastated after the breakdown of her eight-year marriage to Cannon, 43, in early 2020.

Froggatt, who was engaged to DJ Phil Vane aged 19, married Cannon in 2012 in a private ceremony at a church in Oxfordshire attended by her Downton Abbey cast mates.

Together they owned a production company called Run After It, but the actress now runs the business on her own and said being in charge “feels like an exciting new chapter.”

Her baby boy’s happiness comes after it was revealed she will be returning to Downton Abbey as production begins on the period drama’s third film.
