A California state senator has been accused of keeping her married chief of staff as a sex slave and injuring his back while “forcing” him to perform oral sex on her.

California Republican Sen. Marie Alvarado-Gil, 50, was attacked Thursday by former chief of staff and father of three Chad Condit, the 57-year-old son of former Rep. Gary Condit.

Condit alleges the married mother of six frequently demanded oral sex, including in the car, resulting in a back injury, in the civil lawsuit filed in Sacramento Superior Court.

Condit claims the relationship was a “sex-based exchange relationship” that he says was marked by “unwanted advances and sexual behavior accompanied by punishment and displays of power.”

Alvarado-Gil was elected in 2022 and hired Condit as her chief of staff. She fired him in December 2023 and vehemently denies the allegations, calling him a “disgruntled former employee” who has “made up a wild story … to get paid.”

Condit claims Alvarado-Gil had a penchant for oral sex and treated it as a power advantage.

“They were driving together and stopped to use the bathroom,” the lawsuit says of an alleged incident that occurred during a trip to Inyo County.

‘When he got back to the car, she had her pants down and said, “I want you to kiss her and show her your loyalty.”

‘She had her legs spread and was turned towards him, exposing her vagina. She instructed him to submit to her demand and give her vagina oral pleasure.’

The lawsuit claims she “became numb and acted thoughtlessly” after months of alleged abuse by Alvarado-Gil.

On the last occasion when she demanded oral sex, Condit says she suffered a serious injury due to the tight quarters of the car they shared.

Condit claims he performed the act “in the seat of a car and that his body had to twist and contort in the confined space of the vehicle.”

As a result, the chief of staff suffered three herniated disks in his back and a collapsed hip, according to the lawsuit.

He says she began resisting his sexual demands after the injury and that “made her unhappy with him.”

Condit’s father, former Democratic congressman Condit, has also been accused of having extramarital affairs, including with missing intern Chandra Levy, who was found murdered a year after she disappeared in 2001. Condit’s father was never named as a suspect.

However, speculation about whether the politician committed the murder allegedly led Alvarado-Gil — who fired Condit last December — to allegedly ask his then-employee if he would “be like his father,” according to the lawsuit.

She also claimed the alleged inappropriate comments escalated over time, including in March 2023, when the politician allegedly asked her about her feelings about “throuples,” a term referring to a consensual relationship between three people.

Alvarado-Gil asked “if (he) thought his wife would like that,” the suit stated, and Condit’s attorneys also wrote how Alvarado-Gil would allegedly share her sexual fantasies with him and other staff members for all to hear.

For one, the Senate District 4 representative allegedly told him “she prefers short black men and older white guys like (Condit)” and that “if (Republican state Sen. Roger Niello) were younger and I was single, I’d be right on his heels.”

On August 23, 2023, the son of the former California representative said he made it clear that the then-Democrat’s advances were not welcome, leading to threats to his job.

She also said she began refusing Alvardo-Gil’s demands for oral sex, using her back injury as an excuse.

These included Alvardo-Gil allegedly issuing him a ‘false disciplinary letter with allegations of inappropriate conduct made by Alvarado-Gil against him,’ and visiting his home to accuse him of seeing someone with his wife.

Last month, Alvarado-Gil, who abruptly changed her party affiliation from Democrat to Republican last August, wished Condit a very public happy birthday, writing: “Thank you for all you do.”

In October, Condit underwent back surgery for his alleged injuries, according to the lawsuit, before Alvarado-Gil fired him at the end of the year.

Condit said that before he was fired, Alvardo-Gil threatened to hire his wife Helen, with whom he has three children.

Alvardo-Gil, meanwhile, is also married and has six children. In the lawsuit, Condit claimed that her boss had a “free pass for life” to cheat on her husband, who also cheated on her.

The California State Senate is also named in the lawsuit, as Condit claimed staff there enabled the alleged harassment, which he says never included sexual relations.

“The Secretary of the Senate blindly accepted Alvarado-Gil’s retaliatory actions and ratified her abuse of him,” the lawsuit reads.

Senate Secretary Erika Contreras responded Friday: “The Senate has not been notified of this matter, but we are in discussions with attorneys to assess next steps.

‘The Senate takes all complaints very seriously, but cannot comment on matters involving pending litigation.’

Ognian Gavrilov, Alvardo-Gil’s lawyer, added: ‘A disgruntled former employee concocted a far-fetched story, presented without evidence, to obtain a payout.

“We hope that the senator will be completely cleared of any wrongdoing in these false and financially motivated claims.”

Meanwhile, Condit and Alvarado-Gil have had public clashes in the past, with the latter filing an ethics complaint with Attorney General Rob Bonta in May, requesting an investigation into how Condit sought funding for certain infrastructure improvements.

A few months later, Alvarado-Gil made headlines for switching her party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, citing her frustration with the majority party’s anti-crime policies.

She was first elected to represent her district, which is majority Republican, in 2022. Condit was part of her campaign.
