A Dodgers fan appeared to blow off his fingers holding a firework during nighttime celebrations in Los Angeles for the team’s World Series victory.
A shocking video appeared online and went viral, showing the fan running onto the road to pick up a firework from the ground, but when he grabs it, it explodes.
After emerging from a plume of smoke, the man staggers back to the sidewalk, appearing dazed, as blood spurts from his left hand.
Bystanders can be heard screaming in shock, with one yelling: ‘Oh f***, his hand exploded!’ Call 911!’
According to TMZ, first responders in Los Angeles found the man, 25, and he eventually received hospital treatment for “debilitating but non-life-threatening” injuries.

A horrific video of the shocking accident has gone viral on social media.
While the injuries are shocking, the explosion is so strong that the man was perhaps lucky not to be even more seriously injured.
The incident occurred as thousands of fans in Los Angeles took to the streets to celebrate their team’s World Series victory over the New York Yankees.
However, some of those celebrations turned ugly when gangs looted a Nike store in downtown Los Angeles and stole merchandise.
A bus also burned and Los Angeles police said arrests were made when officers were pelted with fireworks and other objects.
There is no indication in the video of the fireworks fan’s accident that he was aiming at police.
The Dodgers have since returned to Los Angeles and will hold a parade on Friday to celebrate their eighth World Series title.
