Scandal-plagued Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert drew a small crowd to a campaign event as she fights to retain a seat in Washington after flipping districts.
Boebert, who is trying to win a seat in the state’s 4th Congressional District after two terms in the 3rd, posted photos of her event on social media on Friday.
She wrote: ‘Great to be with you today, Adams County Republican Party!’
Photos showed several rows empty or partially filled as the 36-year-old grandmother spoke to her potential constituents.
Boebert has been fighting the perception among liberals and even some moderate Republicans of her reckless nature, with a series of scandals dotting her time in office, most infamously when she was asked to leave a performance of Beetlejuice for sexually groping his date.

She can be seen taking a selfie as she leaves the auditorium and angrily flashes her teeth at the staff as they escort her down the hall.

Boebert also angered liberals by referring to Ilhan Omar as part of the ‘Jihad Squad’ and was roundly mocked in 2021 after she made a Christmas card with her family showing them all brandishing rifles.
She even angered fellow MAGA ally Marjorie Taylor Greene when the pair reportedly nearly got into a shouting match in a women’s bathroom near the House floor last year over Boebert’s opposition to Kevin McCarthy.
Conservatives even grimaced when Boebert proudly defended Tyler when he got his 17-year-old girlfriend pregnant even though the couple was not married.

Dave Rubin of the ‘Rubin Report’ asked the conservative if her oldest son, Tyler, by getting his girlfriend pregnant, ‘challenged’ any of her beliefs.
“Obviously I’m a Christian and there are standards we like to uphold, but none of us do it perfectly,” she said. “We can criticize what the Bible says is right and wrong, but I think just having that heart position of wanting to serve God is very important.”
