A die-hard Swiftie has revealed how Taylor Swift gifted her her iconic black ’22’ bowler hat at her Melbourne show on Saturday night.
TikTok star Oliver Mills, 24, appeared on The Sunday Project and told the hosts that getting the hat was a combination of luck and the fact that she was a big fan of their channel.
“I was in the right place at the right time. I’m not one to kiss and tell, she said she was a fan and thought I was funny, so let’s just roll with that,” he explained.
“Walking up on stage and being so close to someone so kind and beautiful was absolutely incredible.”
During each of her Eras Tour shows, Taylor randomly chooses one person from the crowd to come up on stage and give her the hat.

Another Swiftie has also revealed her theory about how Taylor chooses which fan to give her hat to.
Michelle Hillier said she thinks the star picks out an overzealous fan at the beginning of each show.
“About five minutes before the show started, Swift came out and was waving,” he said in a TikTok video.

‘There have been rumors that Swift chooses who gets that hat. There was a girl in my section and she was dancing up a storm, having a great time.
‘After three songs, security came to our section and started dancing and then turned to the girl and asked who she was here with.
‘She had a big smile on her face and told them to come with her. That girl looked exactly like the girl who received the hat from her.
“My guess is that at the beginning of the show, Swift picks someone and then security takes him to meet her.”
Tens of thousands of Swifties once again descended on the MCG for the third Australian show on Sunday, with Taylor delivering another incredible performance for excited fans.
Swift mania will soon be coming to Sydney and the pop star will be performing four shows from Friday 23 February to Monday 26 February.
