They have been together since they were only 13 years old.
However, Danny Dyer admitted he was “angry for many years” when speaking about his marriage to wife Joanne Mas in a recent interview.
The 46-year-old actor reflected on his relationship with Joanne during his appearance on Elizabeth Day Podcast How to Fail as he admitted that she was not committed to a life of fame and that she supported him “through a lot of s**t.”
The couple began dating in 1992 and share three children – Love Island star Dani, 27, daughter Sunnie, 17, and son Arty, six.
Their on-again, off-again relationship was marred by cheating allegations in the past, though they eventually got back together for good and tied the knot in 2016 after Joanne proposed a year earlier.

He told Elizabeth: ‘Well, I’ve been with the same woman since I was 13. It’s a journey. It’s a very strange thing.
‘Because if you think about who you were at 13 and who you are now, growing up with someone at the same time, at the same pace, and then you add fame into the mix, and what happened with me, that she never wanted, and she joined me on this journey, both from the same suburb.
‘She didn’t really sign up for that, and then on her course, she screwed with me when I got really famous, and I didn’t quite know what to do with that and I guess she supported me through a lot of things and had to be really patient with me.
‘And of course I believe in marriage vows and in sickness and in health, in the good and the bad.
“It’s hard to stay in a relationship for so long with the press and me being a jerk for so many years, because I was, I throw my hands up, I lost my way for so many years.”
She continued: ‘I didn’t really know who she was and I guess she had to suffer through all that on a national level.
“I love her with all my heart. You know, she challenges me every day. She’s kept me grounded. I’m telling you that now.
“He once came to see me in a play and when I came off stage he said, ‘Yeah, don’t get carried away by what you say. ‘ I thought that was what I needed to hear.”
He told Elizabeth: “Well, I’ve been with the same woman since I was 13. It’s a trip. It’s so weird that… She didn’t really sign up for it, and then on her course, she screwed with me when I got really famous, and I didn’t quite know what to do with it” (photo from 2006)

Danny also said that now that Joanne is starting to go through menopause it is his turn to be patient with her.
She added: “And now we’ve reached a stage where she’s already quite menopausal and now it’s my turn to be very patient and accommodating and try to understand that.
“I mean, I can tell what mood he’s in by the way he walks down the stairs. You know, the creaking of the stairs, whether it’s my turn today or not.”
Last year in an interview with The timesThe actor recalled the moment he was caught cheating on Jo in 2000, which resulted in her “changing her phone number and emptying her bank account.”
Danny explained that she also prevented him from seeing his eldest daughter, Dani, adding: “I didn’t blame her.”
‘It was a crazy time. Now I realise that what’s important to me is my family. They are everything.
‘I tried to fill it with drink and drugs and doing stupid things. I was a lost soul.
“I had a ‘fuck off’ button and I would destroy relationships before they could leave me,” she explained.
