A Dallas woman who had to fight for her life after being involved in a horrific hit-and-run accident that killed her roommate has been breathing without assistance for the first time in two months.

On Sunday, her uncle Tim Herriage said on Facebook that Camryn had been breathing on her own, writing, “Camryn has been breathing on her own for over 24 hours!”
