But right-wing pundits are now suggesting alcohol is to blame for Harris’s “lunatic” laughter and what many describe as the vice president’s “word salad” when she strays from the script.

DailyMail.com has contacted Harris’s representatives for comment.

One commenter posted two clips of Harris, one introducing Joe Biden at a recent speech in Maryland, the other featuring the vice president’s infamous retelling of her mother’s “coconut tree” story.

In it, Harris bursts into laughter after uttering the question, “Do you think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” while giving a speech about equality and the advancement of Hispanics.

And he continues: “As a democracy, we know that the nature of democracy is dual. On the one hand, it has incredible strength when it is intact. What it does for its people to protect and defend their rights, their freedom and their independence is both incredibly strong and incredibly fragile.”

Even James Blair, political director of the Trump 2024 campaign, suggested There were rumors about the vice president.

Others jokingly posted that if Harris was found to be drunk, it would help her win key Midwestern states.

Biden was plagued by rumors about his poor health and mental acuity throughout his presidency, and his poor performance in a June debate against Donald Trump ultimately ended his reelection hopes.

Trump is no stranger to making claims about his own health, with some observers suggesting the former president is also showing signs of cognitive decline.

On Sunday, Harris plans a bus tour that will begin in Pittsburgh, with a stop in Rochester, a small city to the north.

The compromise came as Democrats prepare for their four-day meeting. national convention which begins Monday in Chicago and will mark the party’s welcome of Harris as its nominee.

His replacement of Biden less than four months before the November election has reinvigorated Democrats and their coalition, but also presented a new challenge for Trump.

The vice president is scheduled to debate Trump in Philadelphia on September 10.
