A young model found dead in the bathroom of a popular brewery had received death threats weeks before.
Savana Calvo, 27, died after a night of drinking at Young Henrys on Wilson Street in Newtown, in Sydney’s inner west, at 11.30pm on Wednesday.
His death is not considered suspicious by New South Wales Police. There is no suggestion that young Henry has done wrong.
Her father Daniel told her Daily Telegraph Her daughter had received multiple threats from various people and had also been harassed.
“As a parent, I knew very well that she was being harassed and harassed and I tried to intervene,” Calvo said.
‘Although we were very close, daughters don’t tell their parents many things.
“More and more it is coming to light: she was involved with some dodgy young people, she owed money and, until last week, she received multiple death threats.
“It’s just an incredible disaster, a nightmare, we’re slowly getting over it.”

Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
Calvo revealed that her daughter had been involved in a serious car accident in 2022.
As a result, he suffered a serious spinal injury.
Calvo said he didn’t believe his daughter was “suicidal” because “she used to say she wouldn’t do it for me.”
“It’s crushing, devastating and we are very, very grateful for the messages of support we have received,” she said.
“His mother and I were with police in Darlinghurst on Thursday morning trying to determine what happened and I know there will be a thorough investigation.”
Adam St John-Foti, a friend of Calvo’s family, previously told Daily Mail Australia he had experienced “difficult times” in the months before his death.
Mrs. Calvo has been remembered as a “dear daughter, sister and friend who brought so much love and light to all of our lives.”
“She will be deeply missed by all who knew her,” St. John-Foti wrote.
‘We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers and messages of support during this difficult time.
“Your kindness means a lot to Savana’s family as we go through our grief.”

Another friend of Calvo’s family shared a heartfelt tribute to the young woman.
“You were always smiling and a kind and gentle soul and you will be sorely missed beautiful lady, fly high you beautiful angel,” he wrote.
‘I haven’t stopped thinking about you since I heard about your passing… I’ll miss you Savvy.’
Another user said his passing was “such a tragic and huge loss.”
A popular bar in Newtown, The Coopers Hotel, also took to social media to mourn the loss.
“It is with a heavy heart that Newtown mourns the loss of a beloved member of its community,” reads a post on the hotel’s Facebook page.
