Cate returns to the Venice Film Festival this year to promote her starring role in Apple TV+’s new limited series, based on Renee Knight’s 2015 novel.
The show, which is scheduled to premiere at the festival on Thursday.
He stars alongside Kevin, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Lesley Manville.
The cast also includes Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge, South Korean actress HoYeon Jung, as well as Liv Hill, Gemma Jones and Anya Marco Harris.
The release date for the highly anticipated series has been confirmed and will hit screens via Apple TV+ on October 11, 2024.

At first, Catherine is intrigued by the novel, but quickly discovers that it is not fiction, but rather a reenactment of the day Catherine “became hostage to a dark secret, a secret only one other person knew, and that person is dead,” according to the synopsis.
The only other person who knew this secret (or so she thought) is dead, as she finds herself facing the truth about that terrible, fateful day.
Forced to live through a “nightmare” she experiences, Catherine’s only hope is to confront what happened that fateful day, even if “the truth could destroy her.”
Production began in June 2022 and was filmed in London, Mexico and Sydney before wrapping in February last year.
