Caitlin Clark makes history again! Fever superstar breaks another WNBA record and rookie continues impressive comeback with win over Seattle Storm

Caitlin Clark continues to add to her historic rookie campaign.

On Sunday, Clark surpassed Ticha Penicheiro for the most assists by a rookie in WNBA history as she led the Indiana Fever to a 92-75 victory over the Seattle Storm.

Penicherio set the previous record of 226 assists in 1998 with the Sacramento Monarchs.

But Clark, who came into the game with 223 assists this season, added nine more to his tally and broke the record with 12 games left in the playoffs.

The former Iowa Hawkeye broke the record late in the second quarter against the Storm. With the Fever down 19-25, Clark passed to Lexie Hull for a layup.

Clark would inspire a comeback for the Fever, including a full-court pass over four Seattle defenders to find Kelsey Mitchell for an easy finish in the third.
