Burger King is rolling out more new products in the US as the battle between fast-food chains to attract customers intensifies.
Like its rivals, it recently launched a four-item-for-$5 meal deal to attract value-seeking customers.
Now, it is expanding its range with the Fiery menu, which includes a burger, a chicken sandwich, two types of fries and a drink, with different levels of spiciness scored on a scale of one to five.
“We know our customers crave flavor-packed spices when they come to BK, but spices are different for everyone,” said Burger King Chief Marketing Officer Pat O’Toole.
“As a brand whose goal is for guests to ‘do it their way,’ we’re excited to offer a range of products that appeal to everyone, from those who just want a little something special to those who can’t get enough of the spice.”
Available nationwide for a limited time beginning July 18, the Fiery menu offers five new BK menu items, ranging from entrees to snacks.
Spicy Mozzarella Fries are French fry-shaped sticks filled with melted mozzarella cheese and peppers and topped with spicy Calabrian pepper breadcrumbs for a spicy kick.
The full Fiery Menu line, available starting July 18 for a limited time, includes:
- Fiery Strawberry and Sprite (Spice Level 1): Sprite with a fiery strawberry puree that has a smooth kick.
- Spicy Mozzarella Fries (Spiciness Level 2): Available in four, eight and 12 pieces, the French fry-shaped sticks are filled with melted mozzarella cheese and peppers fried until crispy and enhanced with a spicy Calabrian pepper breading.
- Fiery Bacon Whopper (Spice Level 3): The Fiery Bacon Whopper features 1/4 lb of charbroiled beef with crispy Fiery seasoned bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and a creamy Fiery sauce.
- Spicy Chicken Fries (Spiciness Level 4): Available in four, eight, and 12 pieces, crispy white meat chicken fries are marinated in a spicy seasoning and coated in garlic-pepper breading.
- Real Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Spicy Bacon (Spiciness Level 5) – This chicken sandwich features a crispy white meat breast filet coated in a Fiery glaze and topped with Fiery seasoned bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and Fiery creamy sauce.
Chains are reeling from falling customer numbers as Americans, fed up with two years of price hikes, stay away and are therefore launching deals.
