IMAGE Rasche was reported to be driving a white Hyundai on a road between Dietzenbach and Rodgau, southwest of Frankfurt.

The publication indicated that his car went off the road after an intersection onto a gravel road and crashed into a tree.

Images obtained by BILD show the Hyundai was destroyed after the crash, with the front of the car smashed.

He is said to have died at the scene of the accident after suffering serious injuries.

Frankfurt players were informed of Rasche’s death on Thursday.

Rasche joined Eintracht’s youth department in 2020. In 2023 he was promoted to head coach for the U17 and then U19 teams in the youth Bundesliga.

This season, he was sidelined for five matches in the U19 youth league (Group D), where they finished second with 10 points.

Rasche had been preparing his team for the home game against Darmstadt 98 on 14 September.
