An UberEats driver has been caught stealing food after placing a delivery on the doorstep of a house and taking a photograph before grabbing the bag and driving off with it.

CCTV footage shared on a Brisbane Facebook community page captured the UberEats driver’s sneaky act.

The customer shared the video and asked social media users if other app users were not receiving their orders.

‘Anyone else who does not get their Uber Does he eat?’, they wrote.

‘Mr Uber must have been hungry today. A quick drop, snap and remove. Have you ever wondered what sometimes happens to your food?

The driver then takes a photo of the order placed at the door of the house.

The video angered social media users, with many stating that the incident should be reported to UberEats.

‘I’d upload that video to Uber!’ one person commented.

Others claimed the incident was a “very common act,” with many adding that they also experienced not receiving their Uber Eats orders.

“Explains what happened to our food,” one person commented.

‘I received an order with most of the food consumed a long time ago. “That was before they used tape or stapled the package it was delivered in,” a second person wrote.

Per UberEats policy, a customer must report a failed delivery within 48 hours to receive a full refund.

“If you never received your order but were charged for it, please chat with us so we can correct it and reorder you,” the UberEats website reads.

‘Please contact us within 48 hours for the best support experience possible. After this period, we may not be able to offer a refund or other resolution.

Moments later, the driver is seen collecting the order and leaving with it, unaware that his actions were filmed by the house's CCTV cameras (pictured).
