Boxing analyst Johnny Nelson has claimed his knowledge of Tyson Fury’s preparations for his undisputed heavyweight clash with Oleksandr Usyk came from Gypsy King’s family.
The former world cruiserweight champion made headlines when he suggested he had information indicating Fury’s preparation for the showdown was not going as planned.
This was followed by the postponement of the fight after the Brit suffered a nasty cut above his eye during sparring.
But Nelson has dismissed theories that he had a secret source within Fury’s camp and instead insisted his views came from information that was publicly revealed by the boxer’s father, John, and brother Shane.
‘Do you want to know who the mole is? His father and his brother are the mole, Nelson. he told talkSPORT’s talkBOXING. ‘Because listen, I didn’t say anything his dad didn’t say.
Boxing analyst Johnny Nelson has addressed speculation that he had a secret source within the Fury camp.
Nelson claimed his idea came from public statements by Tyson’s father John (pictured) and brother Shane.
Tyson Fury has been working hard preparing for his clash and recently revealed his incredible body transformation.
“I haven’t said anything that your brother hasn’t said, okay, I could have sprinkled a little seasoning on it, but what I’m saying is that it’s on the record: your dad was saying that camp is this, that, and the other.
—It’s on record that your brother said there are too many back-beaters there.
Nelson had told the outlet in February that two reliable sources had told him the heavyweight was going through a “tough time.”
Fury and Usyk will finally meet in the ring on May 18 as part of Riyadh’s season in Saudi Arabia to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.
Nelson continued: “Tyson is not an idiot, but Tyson is the head of the snake, so everyone has to behave because they want to stay on that payroll.”
‘Then they are going to tell him what they think (he wants to hear) to ingratiate themselves with him.
“His brother and father are his (real) people and they don’t like the people around him, and they’re not happy.

But people out there think, “I get paid well, so I’ll tell you what you want.”
“I don’t dislike Tyson Fury, I just call his nonsense, I don’t dislike him.
And he added: “Listen to your father, listen to your brother: they are the ones who tell the truth, they are the moles.”
