Blink-182 star Tom DeLonge sank to his knees on stage and then threw up after suffering from heat stroke during a concert.
The incident took place this week during the band’s performance in Paraguay, which was one of the stops on their reunion tour.
They played an hour and a half set on Tuesday night at the Asunciónico Music Festival, which is held in the national capital of Asunción.
Temperatures were soaring in the city and Tom, unaccustomed to the heat, had to stop the show briefly so he could go and get sick in a corner.
But in a flourish of showmanship, he then returned to his center stage and completed the gig with his bandmates Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus.

Tom uploaded an Instagram post about the incident on Thursday, including a slightly blurry photo of him on stage moments before he fell ill.
Although Tom could only be seen from behind, it was clear that he was drenched in sweat, foreshadowing what was about to happen.
‘This was about 1 minute before the stroke. Fell to my knees, everything went blurry, then staggered to the side of the stage and threw up a little,’ he wrote.
‘Super fun. @markhoppus and @travisbarker making up for lost time… man that’s nothing I’ve ever felt before,” he wrote.
He noted that it had been ’95 degrees at 11pm on stage. But… I came back and finished the show. Because that’s what Navy Seals do… @blink182′.
In recordings from the performance, Tom could be seen on his knees in the middle of the band’s 2023 song More Than You Know.
As he wandered his bladder to one side to throw up, members of the audience were heard lovingly calling his name.
Mark and Travis remained on stage, keeping the crowd warmed up while they waited for their bandmate to recover enough to return.

just as they prepared to play the song Happy Holidays, You B*****d in Tom’s absence, Tom himself strolled back on stage to sing it with them
“Are you okay, Tommy?” Mark said at one point. “Tom is throwing up right now, I think. I think Tom is throwing up. If you want me to, I’ll take my shirt off,” he teased the crowd.
Travis remained behind him playing the drums while Mark worked the crowd, asking the voice in his earpiece for updates on his friend.
Tom was gone for so long that Travis and Mark decided to perform Blink-182’s song Happy Holidays, You B*****d without him to pass the time.
But just as they prepared to play the song in Tom’s absence, Tom himself strolled back on stage to sing it with them.
“Okay, this is the deal,” Tom said after the song. ‘I feel better now. I threw up a lot of shit over there. That was some crazy shit. I don’t know what came out of me, but it was weird. I think it’s because I wasn’t prepared.’
