Blake Lively continues to face backlash online for her alleged “mean girl” behavior as another “hard to watch” interview has resurfaced.
Clips of Lively seemingly ‘triggered’ by a reporter’s questions during an October 2017 interview with DP/30 They have been circulating on TikTok.
At the time, she was promoting her thriller All I See Is You, a role that was a clear departure from her Gossip Girl legacy.
Things between Lively and the interviewer seemed to get tense when he asked her to share what kind of roles she hopes to take on “in the next five years.”
“Do you feel free to try everything?” the journalist asked.
Lively seemed taken aback by the question and, after rolling her eyes, replied, “What does that mean?”

Stumbling over his words, the journalist clarified that he was asking her if she would be willing to step out of her comfort zone by doing something new on screen.
I mean, apparently, you’re not going to sing if you think you can’t sing,” he joked.
Lively quickly reminded the reporter that she “sings” in All I See Is You.
Then, with a disappointed expression, she sarcastically asked the journalist if he had “seen the movie” before agreeing to interview her.
“I saw the movie,” he insisted.
Lively then looked at someone off-screen before smiling and telling the reporter, “We’re going to give you a pop quiz at the end (of this interview).”
“You can have a pop quiz every minute,” he replied with a nervous laugh.
Elsewhere in the nearly 40-minute interview, Lively can be seen exhibiting closed-off body language as she sits with her arms crossed and talks at length about being a “shy person.”
She claimed to have “lived” on movie sets growing up and that the acting classes she took “her whole life” helped her come out of her shell.
Lively spoke about learning “improv” during her years of acting classes and how it’s something she “still[uses]in my everyday life.”
As an example, she bizarrely described her banter at home with husband Ryan Reynolds as “improv.”

The conversation was reignited on TikTok this week when TikTok user @c**tychanel shared “rude” clips from the interview with her followers.
Lively’s fans accused the Gossip Girl star of being “so ready to be offended” when asked a question.
Some called the criticism of Lively’s behavior “hateful” and “forced.”
“How far-reaching! This hate is so forced,” one person wrote.
Another said they “didn’t see any rudeness” from Lively during her exchange with the reporter.
The latest viral clip of Lively’s interview comes after award-winning journalist, Kjersti Flaa, admitted she almost quit her job after an excruciating interview with the actress in 2016.
And Lively and Flaa had an ‘awkward’ reunion just two years later, as a resurfaced clip reveals.
For the interview, Lively was joined by her A Simple Favor co-star Anna Kendrick, with whom she was rumored to be feuding at the time.
While promoting their 2018 thriller, things got off to a bad start when Lively kicked off the conversation by sarcastically warning Flaa that she had just walked into “a full-on therapy session.”
“We’ve packed the room,” Lively joked, after Kendrick tensely muttered that they could “drop” whatever they were talking about before the cameras started rolling.

Kendrick then apologizes for something, while Lively starts laughing and grabs a cake to break the ice.
“Let’s have some chocolate croissants,” the mother of four said as Flaa laughed.
Flaa begins the interview by discussing how different their characters are in A Simple Favor as she tells Lively that her character seems like “the most confident woman in the world” while Kendrick’s is “very insecure.”
“In real life, it’s the other way around,” Kendrick joked. “I have to constantly call Blake and say, ‘Okay, you’re good at interviews. I promise people like you and respect you.'”
Kendrick then joked that his motivational talks were the “reason” Lively got out of bed in the morning.
“Anna is just an egomaniac, as you can see,” Lively said deadpan.
In another attempt to get a sincere answer to his question, Flaa asked if women were good at giving themselves compliments.
This made Lively perk up a bit and she said that it felt “good” when Kendrick praised her.
The mother of four went on to admit that she struggles with confidence and previously judged her own mother for being “so self-assured.”
“Which seems unfair to me,” he mused.

Before ending the interview, Lively reflected that they only got people to come to this press conference by bribing them with alcohol and cupcakes.
“There’s a lot of free stuff when you leave,” Likely told Flaa. “You can take some furniture from the hotel room and charge it to Lionsgate!”
As she tries to ask one last question, Flaa realizes that “time is up.”
Kendrick then makes a “Wah-wah” noise as Lively goes to shake Flaa’s hand, without making eye contact.
After Flaa compliments Lively’s jewelry, the artist returns the compliment.
Lively tells the reporter, “I was admiring yours, right?”

The video begins with Kjersti congratulating Lively on her pregnancy.
Lively seemed completely disappointed by the comment and responded with a sarcastic joke.
“First of all, congratulations on your little baby bump,” gushed Content Now TV founder Kjersti.
“Congratulations on your little baby bump,” Blake replied, as the interviewer laughed nervously.
“What’s wrong with my tummy?” Parker added, standing up to show her backside to the camera.
Kjersti, who seemed taken aback by Blake’s response, sat awkwardly as the two women joked about their various “bulges” together.
And things only got worse when Kjersti asked the women her first question.
Since the film is set in the 1930s, Kjersti wondered if they enjoyed wearing old-school clothing in the film.
But Blake didn’t like the question, and when Parker started to answer, he interjected: “Everyone wants to talk about clothes, but I wonder if they would ask men about clothes.”
“I would,” Kjersti promised.
Once again, the women began talking to each other instead of Kjersti, as they discussed some of their favorite outfits worn by the men in the film.
The awkward interview continued for a few more minutes before a defeated Kjersti concluded.
After the 2016 interview spread like wildfire online, a source told People that the tense exchange was sparked by the journalist’s “rude statement” to Lively — seen in 2019 while she was pregnant with their third child, Betty.
Lively has been married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds since 2012.
“Sitting down with Blake Lively and her co-star Parker Posey for Cafe Society is the most awkward interview situation I’ve ever experienced,” she wrote in the caption.
