A three-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west.
Emergency crews were called to Greenbank Drive in Blacktown after reports a child had been hit by a car around midday on Saturday.
The boy was treated for serious head injuries before being rushed to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A CareFlight spokesperson said: a quick intervention and the specialist doctor “could have saved the child’s life.”
It is understood that the three-year-old boy is in a serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
A Honda Accord was seized for forensic testing and the 22-year-old driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
New South Wales Police said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
