Barron Trump was spotted negotiating his first days on the New York University campus, with the school’s interim dean revealed to have called his father a “threat” to the United States.

Former President Donald Trump told DailyMail.com last week that his youngest son will become a student at the Stern School of Business when he moves there.

JP Eggers, interim dean of the Stern School, was one of 1,400 signers of a letter titled “It’s time for America’s business leaders to speak out against the threat Trump poses to our republic.”

Written in October 2020, the letter states that it is “unacceptable and immoral to remain silent” on how Trump is “unfit to lead and is a threat to the Republic.”

The letter was written by Harvard Business School professor Deepak Malhotra and signed by 21 different NYU Stern professors.

“It is time for our business leaders to demonstrate the moral courage and civility that they have long professed and that others have already demonstrated. It is time to sound the alarm.”

In May, Eggers was due to be named interim dean of the prestigious business school on July 1.

He has been a professor of management and organizations since July 2008.

He served as Vice Dean of MBA and Graduate Programs from 2018 to 2024.

DailyMail.com has contacted the Stern School of Business for comment.

Trump, who will face Kamala Harris in their first debate before the November election in Philadelphia tonight, was beaming over his son’s acceptance last week.

“He was accepted into a lot of colleges,” a proud Donald Trump said.

“He’s a very smart guy and he’s going to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at New York University.”

Stern is one of the top business schools in the United States, with a highly selective undergraduate program: only 1 in 20 applicants succeed.

Barron, 18, is the youngest son of the former president and his wife Melania. He graduated in May from the prestigious Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach.

Trump said his son considered following in his father’s footsteps at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, but ultimately opted for New York University.

“It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school,” Trump told DailyMail.com.

‘We liked NYU. I’ve known NYU for a long time, but it’s one of the top-rated universities…

‘I went to Wharton and that was definitely an option we were considering. We didn’t do it.

‘We went for Stern.

“He’s a very talented child, but he’s not a child anymore. He’s just moved on to something more than childhood. He’s doing very well.”

Trump said his son planned to continue playing soccer in college. He is known for his soccer fanaticism and has played on one of the youth teams for DC United, an MLS team.

The New York University campus is not far from Trump Tower in Manhattan, where Barron spent much of his childhood before his father became president.

Stern’s undergraduate program is highly selective, with only one in 20 applicants making the grade.

Famous alumni include Alan Greenspan, former chairman of the Federal Reserve, and Kenneth Langone, founding financier of Home Depot.

Trump also later spoke to DailyMail.com and described how Barron has become a crucial part of his campaign, helping him connect with Gen Z voters through influencers and podcasters.

“He knows a lot about this,” Trump said during an interview last week at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

“Adin Ross, you know, I mean I play people that I wasn’t that familiar with, from a different generation. He knows them all and we’ve had tremendous success.”

The livestream with Ross was filmed at Mar-a-Lago and had more than 580,000 live viewers at its peak, making it the third most-watched stream simultaneously on Kick’s platform this year.

However, he also described how his family had paid a high price for being in the public eye.
