Having emerged in the early 2000s, ballet flats were a wardrobe staple for most in the UK.
But after about ten years off the scene, this year has marked the resurgence of the simple but elegant shoe.
On TikTok, London-based Agata Poplawska claimed to have found the “perfect” pair at a reasonable price at British retailer Marks & Spencer.
He video It has since received more than 190,000 views, leaving social media users “obsessed” with the £35 shoes.

Agata said: “After two hours of shopping, I found the perfect flats.”
The content creator then showed off the wide variety of ballet flats for sale at the retailer’s local branch. The vegan shoes, which cost £35, are available in red, silver and black.
Agata showed off the minimalist pumps in different colors, starting with a metallic silver snake-effect pair.
She later tried on buckled ballet flats in a timeless red hue and a different pair in black.
This easy-to-wear wardrobe staple features a single buckled strap and a sleek square toe. She concluded: ‘Run to M&S, THEY SERVED again.’
Social media users flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on the season’s must-have item, with one viewer left “obsessed.”

It comes after New York Fashion Week showcased a series of ballet flats, Tibi made luxe leather styles, while Milan saw Fendi make flats with gold bracelets around the ankle.
