Australia’s ‘most tattooed woman’ has revealed an incredible detail about her body art as enthusiasts and industry heavyweights descend on Brisbane for the Australian Tattoo Expo.

Amber Luke, who calls herself the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, was among the stars who attended the Brisbane expo on Saturday.

She tattooed her eyes at the age of 22; the excruciating process left her blind for weeks.

Ms Luke revealed she had recently returned from Brazil to get her eyes tattooed again.

“I wanted to acknowledge it and say, ‘You know what? I may have gone blind for three weeks, but it turned out to be a pretty cool experience,'” Luke told The Apollo Show podcast host Adam Manikis earlier this month.

‘As I saw it at the time, it was a catastrophe for me for three weeks.

“I really wanted that to be completely separate from what it actually was.” She told the podcast that there were no complications and there was no pain,” she said.
