Ariana Grande took some time after attending the Olympics to share some words for a fan who criticized her new album Eternal Sunshine.

An X user (formerly Twitter) posted: ‘This is their worst era, I’m sorry Positions was better.’

The post angered the 31-year-old We Can’t Be Friends singer and she clapped back.

“Go and enjoy listening to it! I’m glad you finally like it,” she wrote, adding a heart and xx to her response.

After all, both albums are his, so why would he care which one fans prefer while listening to it?

Another fan wrote: ‘Eternal Sunshine and Positions are Ariana’s best albums,’ while a third said: ‘This is her best era by the way.’

“It’s always their own fans. They made her Cut Positions era short because they hated her, they banned her from Twitter because she criticized her voice team. If only she knew the things some of you say about Rem’s beauty and evilness…” another person wrote.

“All fans do this with every new era. They hated Positions back in the day and now they suddenly LOVE it during a new era? And then when a new era starts, everyone will start loving/missing Eternal Sunshine. I swear people can never just enjoy the present,” another person pointed out.

A lot has happened in the Wicked star’s life since she released Positions in 2020.

She married and divorced real estate agent Dalton Gomez, began laborious production on the film adaptation of Wicked, and began dating her married co-star Ethan Slater.

That gave the Thank U, Next hitmaker plenty of emotional material to craft the first album of her 30s.

Her fourth studio album marks the beginning of a new era for the Florida native and she announced the project as a “concept album” in which she addresses the fallout from her divorce and the scandal at the beginning of her relationship with Slater.

From the beginning, in Intro, Grande dives into her own emotional cesspool as she sings:

‘How do I know if I’m in the right relationship?/Aren’t you supposed to really know that shit?/Feel it in your bones and own that shit?’

The post angered the 31-year-old We Can't Be Friends singer, and she responded with applause.

And while fans debate which are Grande’s best times, the Bang Bang singer is living her best life in Paris.

She was spotted in the audience during the qualifying round for the women’s artistic gymnastics competition.

During a brief interview she gave from the stands, she showed off her iPhone’s lock screen and eagle-eyed fans spotted a photo with the silhouettes of two people, who they thought were Ariana and Ethan.

The background of the screen clearly showed two people, and also seemed to show a woman standing to the left of a man, but their identities were difficult to distinguish at such a small size.
