The royal, 73, demonstrated her knack for repurposing on Friday when she visited the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, wearing an aquamarine dress she has owned for 46 years.
Anne’s dress, which debuted during President Khama of Botswana’s state visit to London in 1978 when she was 26, incorporates a statement collar, checkered bodice and elegant pleated skirt.
She paired her dress with a single-breasted jacket in a matching hue, elevating the look with a cream clutch and bow-embellished pumps, which she wore to Royal Ascot in 2023.
Anne, who is often referred to as the “hardest working royal” of the British Royal Family, is visiting the United Arab Emirates as president of the Mission for Seafarers.
