Three men and a woman have been charged following the alleged kidnapping of a man.
A 33-year-old man was found inside a house on Webb Street in North Parramatta, in Sydney’s west, at 9.40pm on Saturday.
Police allege the man was held against his will.
The 33-year-old man was treated at the scene for serious injuries to his face, body and leg before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene, along with a 44-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman.
Four people have been charged following the alleged kidnapping of a man last week
Police officers allegedly found drugs, ammunition, electronic devices and other items in the home used in the alleged kidnapping.
The items were seized for forensic testing.
The three people arrested have since been charged with taking or detaining in company with intent to obtain an advantage while causing actual bodily harm and participating in a criminal group while contributing to criminal activity.
Another search warrant was served at 1am on Monday at an apartment in Lidcombe.
Police arrested a 20-year-old man at the scene before he was charged with the same offenses as the other three people.
The man was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday.
The 40-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were formally refused bail and will appear in court on February 28.
The 44-year-old was formally refused bail and will appear in court on May 2.
The investigations continue.
